“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“Rebecca and Charles are the best! The property is immaculate and beautifully manicured... Breakfasts were thoughtfully planned and served... It's a shame my wife and I had to return to work after our weekend getaway. We'll be back soon!!!”

“Although a beautiful property, they did not serve lunch or dinner on two of the nights we were there and there were no restaurants open other than going to Ithaca (Monday and Tuesday). They did have a continental breakfast.”

“It’s getting harder and harder to find a quality hotel that has a good location, great staff, and is very clean. But the Best Western had all those things. And the morning breakfast was very good. I especially appreciated how attentive the staff were in the breakfast area, but also at the front desk. For that matter, the cleaning staff were also excellent, and I gave them a big tip. I really enjoyed my stay, and I would pick this as my number one choice if I were coming to the Hammondsport area……

“Beautiful room and home, very clean!! Loved the amenities too. Amazing bathroom. Only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything other guests were doing. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room. Perfect for a quiet getaway but bring earplugs just in case there’s a snorer in the next room.”
