“We (family of 5) stayed a week in what will undoubtedly be the warmest week of the year. The cabin is great and you could sense that it has been a beloved destination for the family that has owned it for many decades. It is very comfortable and I'd love to visit in the fall. The kitchen is well-appointed such that you don't need to bring anything typically found in one. Gas grill worked fine and there were 2 tanks, so no worries. Beds were comfortable. “I read the reviews and was a little worried about the snakes that a past renter mentioned. We are very happy to report that we did not find any snakes at this location inside or out. Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay which included being outside and catching a lot of fish. The only issue we had were that the beds were not very firm. Our grandchildren asked when we were going to come back. We do plan on visiting in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.”

“This is a great little cabin. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice location right on the trails and right on the lake. Love the gas fireplace and the sun porch (great for getting on all the riding gear in the morning without overheating inside the house!) The kitchen could definitely use a good cleaning and some previous renters didn't leave things very clean (I found some pretty yucky unwashed things in the cabinets). The provided towels and sheets are on the thin and "well used" side. But……
