“The access to the home went without a hitch, just as described. The home was clean, kitchen well-stocked, the dining area airy and bright, and the beds comfortable (although somewhat high to get in and out of - for us). The bathroom is small but clean and very serviceable. The heating/cooling system is good - accommodating the highly fluctuating high and low temperatures of our 4 day stay. “The cottage was great, nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, and conveniently located for hiking. An antique mall and a great garden center were 15 - 20 min. drives. The reason that I gave it less than 5 stars was that the coffee maker stopped working after day 2 of our 4 day stay. We left 2 messages for the property manager and got no reply. The kitchen could also use some better cookware. ”

“Owners extremely friendly and property a total delight! Went to experience Cuyahoga Falls and did so Friday night but stayed in cabin all day Saturday due to the atmosphere. Built a fire Saturday night in outdoor gorgeous fire pit and relaxed more than I thought possible due to the serenity. A nature lovers dream come true! ”

“Our little family enjoyed the cozy accommodations. We took our small dog walking on the path around the lake across the street. Saw Heron and turtles. We also hiked in Cuyahoga Valley National Park about 25 minutes from the house. The coffee, snacks and water at the house were much appreciated.”

We saw three deer in the yard—plenty of room for parking. The kitchen was easy to cook in. Great fridge space. Would like a bed on the main level for family or friends who have trouble with stairs. If you are in Akron, I highly recommend a stay at this unique property.”
