“My daughter and I stayed for three nights for her basketball tournament. It was more spacious and quieter than the busy hotels and convenient to everything in Newport News and a quick 10-min ride to Hampton. Very clean, fun decor, and the kitchen had what we needed for a few simple meals. Shower, washer and dryer all worked well. Plus easy check in and out and great communication with the host.We ended up sharing a bed as the couch and living room setup are not comfy for sleeping and get very……

“Great place in a convenient location. There is a pizza place, a restaurant and a brewery all located right there. The apartment is clean, well appointed, and a comfortable place to stay. It does have a sofa bed for additional guest, but there are no blinds or curtains in that room so be prepared to be up at the crack of dawn. ”

“Issues with damp linens, uneven floors, and unpleasant shower, but the parking situation was horrible. Lastly, and most critically, the parking situation is not ideal and was not explained thoroughly enough. After our first entry to the parking pad, we made a multi-point turn to get out of the residence, since we didn't see any way to pull around, and turned left from the pad into the alleyway. “Enjoyed our stay. Great, quiet location. Parking was challenging on occasion, but doable. Easy access to the building, although the key fob went missing once, it was resolved quickly. Per the previous comments, I was aware the sofa bed wouldn't be the most comfortable for sleeping, but we made do just fine. Communication was excellent. Enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay.”

“We came to visit our son (who is stationed at Langley but didn’t have the space to host us in his studio apartment) over Thanksgiving. This was perfect for our needs and was cute and cozy, just as the weather changed. The location was perfect, just like the accommodations. “The apartment was perfect, nice size and clean. A perfect location to Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, and Water Country. Located in a quiet community and the apartment looks out on the lake. “The cottage was much worse than the photos. The online photos are of more expensive or updated suites or are taken to deceive. The beds are excellent. The two units we saw are otherwise very dated. Clean but in need of replacement except the beds. The internet is not wired, so it's slow, drops often and has no security. The TV is so old you can't stream or connect HDMI, so it's just commercial cable, and it doesn't swivel. Not the end of the world, but in a resort room in the evening it's crazy……
