“The views from the cabin were amazing. Sitting on the deck eating meals and watching the river and quietness is a plus. Soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking is very relaxing. The cabin had what we needed for our trip. The only downside was the amount of caterpillars that got in and how loud the portable air conditioning was. Nothing that would make me not come back though. It does have a lower water pressure so if you are someone that needs a high pressure shower this is not for……

“From the moment we arrived I knew it was the right decision. The description of the property was as written. If you want beauty, comfort, privacy from hustle and bustle this was the place. Susan and John were wonderful hosts as described by others. Sparrow was a delight to play with. My only disappointment was we didn’t get to spend more time at the house as our itinerary was jam packed. But waking every morning to hummingbirds was a delight. We hope to be able to visit Washington again and……

“What a great place! Son, mother, grandmother trip with dog. Plenty of space and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It is right off main road with train nearby, but that is disclosed in listing. I slept with window open and while I heard the trains, it was not that disruptive. A few restaurants in Gold Bar and several hikes and water time were greatly enjoyed. ”
