“Very helpful staff and friendly ”

“Lovely place, friendly staff. Delicious food and breakfast. Room comfortable, my only minor issue was the sound of the air/con heating unit outside, but i am a light sleeper! Apart from that pretty much perfect! ”

“Cute cottage, not for anyone mobility challenged. Very hot bedroom, didn't sleep much because of that (need lighter weight duvets), shame as otherwise lovely room & very quiet. Lovely to eat supper overlooking the field of sheep and lambs. Food was average. Pub chairs could be more comfy. Breakfast rather small (a full english was one mushroom, 1 small sausage, 1/2 tomato, scrambled egg & 2 very crispy bits of bacon. Had to request toast. Cold option was lovely but limited, juice, granola,……

“This is a beautiful farm house and the room is very spacious. There are beautiful views and the food is from the farm ... Fiona is a very gracious host.”

“Property is a pub with a limited number of rooms. Pubs can be noisy at times…. But quiet at night. Good restaurant….but very crowded on the Friday night we were there….service was slow. Great pub atmosphere Rooms older, but comfortable, pictures accurate ly describe the property. Staff friendly and helpful ”

“Great value for money, clean and tidy. Staff are friendly, beds are comfy and the facilities outdoors are brilliant. WIFI is super good unlike most free WIFI at hotels. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.”

“Lovely friendly welcome from the hosts. Pre-ordered breakfast for the following day and then settled down for the evening in a huge room with comfy seats, a big bed and a lovely bright and clean bathroom. Breakfast was just as promised, fresh, local and really tip top. Sat chatting with the hosts over breakfast watching the horse liveries turning out for the morning. Very very pleasant. ”

“I had a good night's sleep, although I did request 2 single beds for myself and my daughter, but arrived to a king size bed. I was concerned about the noise that the neighbours were making when they returned to their room, as they must have opened and closed their door around 10 times for some reason.”

“Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked……
