“Great place for a sense of isolation in luxury. Living space is bright and open with great views of Mt Hood and the surrounding landscape. A good circuit or trails on site for quick walks. Kitchen is well appointed and the bathrooms are modern and comfortable. Easy drive from Hood River.”

“The house in the pines was a fantasic stay. I would sit and look out those windows for hours. We had amazing sunrise and sunsets this trip! The beds were comfy and loved the layout of the house. We had a few things come up and Jacob was responsive. Though one couldnt be fixed during our stay, it was easy to make contact with him. This house will be on our radar next time we come visit. ”

“This home is perfectly perched at the top of the hill for stellar sunrises and sunsets which we loved. Well appointed, had all the cooking supplies we could need. Hot tub was a great perk. Only thing to keep in mind is the house can take a while to heat up in the winter in sub 30 degrees so just be sure to run that and the fireplace immediately at check in and you’re good to go!”

“The house was lovely and very well stocked and the location is great. There were only 4 of us and we could have easily shared with another family and not felt cramped. The property is private and I hope to go back in the summer and enjoy the awesome decks. The owners clearly care about their guests experience. They checked in with us and gave us lots of helpful tips for places to hike in the area. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.”
