“What a beautiful space! It was very clean and the area quite remote. In the mornings, we saw deer and wild turkey. And so many birds! We didn’t hike any any trails, but there was a great guide available in the home that showed the property lines and gave info about the property! It was great for us and our kiddos. ”

“Property was clean and looked exactly as displayed in the photos. Dock for swimming and kayaking is of good size and good condition. Good variety of outdoor places to sit between screened porch and outdoor fire pit plus outdoor and indoor family games to play. Access was easy and everything worked as expected. “This was our family's first time to Candlewood Lake/Squantz Pond. The area is picturesque and the location of this property is perfect. "As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
