“Sauber und gemütlich. Alt eingesessenes Wirtshaus. Viele Einheimische kehren hier ein, was für das Restaurant spricht. Speisen und Getränke von hoher Qualität. Einzelzimmer fand ich etwas zu teuer, ist aber wohl darauf zurückzuführen, dass es ein Doppelzimmer ist. Einzelzimmer werden wohl nicht angeboten. Dusche / WC sehr neu und sauber. Frühstück i.O.”

“The hotel was in a gorgeous place with the Rhur on one side and woodland all around the others. The staff could not do enough for us and were fantastic. The breakfast was varied and beautifully presented and the restaurant was fine dining. ”

“This hotel lies in the greener outskirt of Essen, ideal for cycling trips or to visit tne Ruhrgebiet without the rush of a city centre. We had a very comfortable stay. There is a lot of eye for detail in this hotel. For example: we had two racebikes with us which we could park securely in a special and fully equipped bikegarage. The breakfast was well organised and the restaurant is a recommendation for lunch and dinner. Last but not least the personnel is really guest focussed. Only attention……

“leider kann ich keine volle Bewertung abgeben,da unser Zimmer sehr alt ( Teppichboden), das Bad sehr unschön( Waschbecken überaltet, alte Kunstoffbecken,die Nespressomaschine nicht einwandfrei funtionierte,zu wenig Zucker,Süßstoff und Milchpuver nicht da gewesen ist. Der Fernseher war gut,das Bett sehr bequem und sauber. Das Zimmer war überhaupt sehr sauber. Leider fehlten im Bad normale Handtücher,es waren nur 2 große Duschtücher und Fußvorleger vorhanden. Der Fön funktionierte einwandfrei und……
