“We received instruction on how to get into the apartment. The bath towels were minimal. we never had any contact by the host other than email. Maybe it’s the European way, but I thought that was very odd. I called because the TV was not working and I felt as if I was interrupting the host. The accommodations were fine. Overall, if ever in Triest again, we would certainly contact Ghiberti again. The price was very reasonable.”

“I didn’t like people in the dorm room on the 3rd floor talking and dancing till 11:30 pm. I could hear all the noise from these younger kids laughing and running around the hotel, with no authority around to tell them that other guests are trying to sleep. ”

“I get why the owner rents this unit out. The noise from the outside machines are simply annoying and being a light sleeper, it was a terrible night. The bed and shower were both comfortable. The proximity to everything is hard to beat.”

L'sms con le info del check-in mi è arrivato alle ore 15:26. Prenotavo la stanza per quattro persone (due adulti e due ragazze) e prevedeva: letto matrimoniale e divano letto. Il divano letto non era preparato; ho dovuto chiamare un numero trovato sul web e sapere è così ho compreso che le lenzuola erano nel divano chiuso e che dovevo……

“We stayed for two nights at the Nuovo Albergo Centro and were very pleased to be guests there. The hotel is quite basic, but everything that it does promise it delivers well. The rooms are basic, but well cared for and very clean. The baths are shared, but (again) are clean and tidy. “Decent good location. My experience was the building is going a through top to bottom renovation so shouting workers, power tools and hammering starts at 7:30 going all day. I also had a problem with a malfunctioning lock keeping me out of the apartment for a couple of hours, owner didn't pick up the phone which I had to borrow. He kept insisting that I call him when I explained multiple times as a tourist I couldn't make calls, only email or messaging. The thing is when returning to Trieste, I……
