“Thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, tranquil setting. From the cozy fireplace, to the hot tub and fresh baked scones upon arrival, the hosts took care and attention to details to make a really wonderful stay. They were easy to work with and super responsive. We can't wait to return!”

“This cabin is in a great location and the owner had good communication. It is definitely rustic which I knew when booking and have no problem with. Two issues that need to be addressed are that it wasn’t clean. Every room had to be swept when I got there, floor needed moping but no mop. There was old moldy food in the fridge. One of the windows had the single glass pane out of the frame. With the other window having a broken pane. The pane fell out 2 other times during the stay.This is a big……

“This little spot in the woods is such a nice retreat. The lens window at the apex of the Yurt and the stove are more enjoyable than TV and the owls and grouse and nuthatches and chikadees and frogs are the best sounds for relaxing. The red squirrels were the comic relief. This year the nicer weather meant a few more ATVs on the adjacent trail but they stop when it gets dark, mostly, and the fence and tree screen make all but the noise of them easy to ignore.”

“We had the pleasure of staying at The Gem while visiting family in Bovey. It was such a beautiful location (that is saying something considering we are from Alaska) with everything you could need. We had a wonderful time fishing on the lake and were quite successful. The sunroom was a fantastic surprise on arrival. We look forward to staying again while visiting family in the near future. ”

“This "cabin" is spectacular! It is clean, organized, spacious and fun! The kitchen is gorgeous with top of the line appliances. The livingroom has a huge TV with unlimited options of movies, shows, music and more! The game room is amazing! The pool table and darts entertained us for hours. The bedrooms are beautiful and have very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are stocked with towels and even a few ramndom things incase you forgot something. Check-in and check-out went smooth. “Beautiful property. I'm pretty sure the pictures were updated on the listing after we booked so we didn't know how good the dock was. Had I seen those pics I would have had a rental pontoon delivered to us which is readily available in the area. The 2nd bathroom is very strange as the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling and it is directly next to the kitchen. Did not feel private at all. Other than that, it was perfect and just what we needed for a weekend getaway. We would book it again……

“Stayed three nights at Mallard Point cabins. This is our fourth year returning and loved it. There is a perfect swimming beach that is nice and sandy. The area is perfect for kids to play in water and the adults to enjoy the sunshine. The fire pits and wood provided make for a nice evening.”

“Beautiful area with very rustic cabins. No TV here, but I regard that as a plus. A few things needed tending , like some window/door screens, but that was no big deal for us. Nice to have the kayaks Available to take out on Pokegama Lake.”

“Our family of 5 (kids 10 months to 10 y.o.) had a great time! Added pontoon for added/improved swimming options and quiet lake tours to end our nights. Used provided fishing gear and the kids caught some nice sunnies, smallmouth and northern! Home was large and inviting. Plenty of space. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Plenty of extras so that I didn’t need to pack my entire kitchen. Lots of outside toys/floaties/bikes/kayak to keep us busy. Had fun on rainy day playing music via Bluetooth……
