“Though the property is out of the way and not super easy to find, it is a lovely little space with all the basic comforts. The owner is very responsive to any needs, and you can even schedule meal service with her if you like. There is fabulous A/C inside and a welcoming fire pit out front to enjoy. You also have your choice of a futon in the living room, a super soft queen bed, and a nice firm king bed. Make sure to look for the red barn-like home on the property, since we got confused and……

“My friend and I needed a base camp for a fishing trip on the Trinity River and a nice place to cook a nice dinner and relax at the end of the day. We were within 10 to 30 minutes of all the boat launches where we meet our guides, and came back to a well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill to prepare a nice fresh fish dinner. We’d sit on the dock dunking worms to end each evening. We will be back!”
