“I was blown away by how awesome it was. From the beautiful area to the fan favorite pingpong table we had a blast!! We would 100 percent stay at The Shire again! The hosts are amazing people and very friendly!! Everything was in driving distance which was great. My family had a blast feeding the fish and making s'mores by the campfire. ”

“We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you.”

“This was our second stay at the property, and it is lovely. The views are glorious and it is a nice space for a family of 5. The down side is that this home is showing signs of wear in the two years since we were first there. The bathroom was quite musty, screen in the bathroom and ceiling fans were covered in dust, the remote was out of batteries, and the mattresses are very, very soft. Everything else was quite clean. The resort is great with lots of activities, and the sand toys and games……
