“I'd give this place a solid "OK." Although sufficiently clean for our brief overnight stay, the condition of the room (furniture damaged, bathroom tile with large gaps where the grout should have been, toilet seat degrading) needed some definite attention. It was nice to have two sinks in the room (one in the bathroom, one in the main room.) Front desk help was friendly. Breakfast was good enough to get a family with teenagers on to our next stop. Would we choose this again on a next trip? Eh,……

“We were in a handicap room and it was very spacious and all the comforts we needed. The sliding door to the bathroom was appreciated for easy entry however it definitely needs a door stop to avoid catching your hand when closing it. It glides so nice and easy but the handle slams against the wall. Minor issue but the finger that was pinched would appreciate it :-) Breakfast options were great as usual and staff was very nice!”

“The inn was so unique and had such amazing history. Frank was the sweetest and so nice about us coming in later. When we came he showed us around and told us all about Smithville’s history and some of the artifacts there. Can’t wait to come again! ”

“The suite is very convenient, clean towels. The room needs some maintenance, such as one side of the trim panel above the curtain is peeling off 1 inch, the location of the hotel is very good, it is very close to the airport, the swimming pool is closed in winter, and the gym is not found, the room There is no hair dryer. “Stayed here one weekend for 2 nights. Check in was okay, except for them charging to park in their large, private lot. Carpeting throughout the hotel needed to be vacuumed. Elevators are very slow. Rooms are suites with a door to divide the space which is nice. Bathtub was slow to drain. The place is definitely showing its age. Breakfast was good. We stayed two nights and left the first morning expecting housekeeping to make the bed, stock towels and TP. We came back to the hotel late in……
