“I booked this room for my son and his dad to have a father son get away for Father’s Day as he is in the process of moving and they needed some father son time. None of us had been there before I just came across it by chance and I’m SO glad I did. He said it was so clean and comfortable. The food was great and just had nothing but great things to say. “Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay.
