“This was a last minute booking. There wasn't a huge selection in Claremont. The property was dated but everything was neat, clean and tidy. It was out of town and in a residential neighborhood. It was a quiet location. It was good for a night and for what I needed but I wouldn't search out to stay there again. “Lots of things were lovely; fantastic room service food (unbelievably fresh and delicious, better than anywhere I’ve ever eaten in a hotel while traveling), beautiful serene natural setting, and wonderful design of the buildings plus COOKIES and tea in the afternoon. The service was also fantastic. The paint could use freshening and the bathroom grout needs redoing (or consider retiling). “The Inn is a timeless rustic beauty, with a wonderful view over the Connecticut River, which borders Vermont and NH. The house, built in 1881, has some of the original large plank oak flooring. It is (as can be seen from their picture) great to sit out on the covered porch and watch the eagles fly over the water. The owners, Blessing and Kaelan, were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast made with food from their local farm, starting with a lovely granola yoghurt and finishing……
