“Our stay at the Victorian Cottage was absolutely delightful! The cottage perfectly blends vintage charm with modern comforts — the working antique stove and claw-foot tub made us feel like we stepped back in time, but we still had all the conveniences of home like air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and fast WiFi. “Family wedding in area over the weekend. We had great time with property on River. Easy access for small river boat. Launched bass boat 11 minutes away at public ramp (all new!). Great house and all the amenities. I have not seen so many fire flies since I was a kid. We took our dog with us. So many small, personal touches that made the property a stand out!”

“The house had everything we needed and room for us, our children, and grandchildren. The house was nicely decorated and clean. The little kids enjoyed the pool and the young adults liked the rope swing on the dock. We also used the canoe. Great place to stay!”

“We had 13 in our family group. There was plenty of room. It’s a lovely house to rent. My family enjoyed our trip and our stay at the house. We parked four vehicles back by the house. They fit, but you may have to do some car jockeying to get out. No big deal. I would stay again!”

We had a great time enjoying the outside deck while the kids explored the canals in the kayaks.The kitchen met all our needs from coffee time to late night snacking.The house is beautiful and was a relaxing escape from the big city rush. “Such a cute cottage! The host thought of everything! Spices, all the kitchen items you’ll need, all cabinets, drawers and switches labeled, large selection of games, perfectly clean dock and outdoor furniture. Our boys loved jumping off the dock using the trapeze! We will stay here again! ”

“We enjoyed our stay more than we could’ve anticipated! The home was lovely. Kids had a blast in the pool, in the game room, and watching movies in the theater. Even the neighbors were great. Kids fished their hearts out. We kayaked and realized we need our own for bayou living! My only suggestions are that the kitchen needs more pots, pans, and basic measuring tools and the bathrooms could use more towels and wash cloths. ”
