“Great, quite laid back island. ”

“Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. The floor had not been swept well prior to us……

“The house is well suited for two couples (with a couple of young kids) or an entire family. Kitchen has plenty of pots/pans, utensils, plates, glasses, toasters and so on. Photos represent the property accurately. We’d encourage visitors to walk about a mile west and explore the undeveloped end of the island. Likewise, check out the bird sanctuary. The ferry to Gulf Shores area is fun. ”

“The first thing I did was get stuck in the sand, and I had to be towed out. The driver said they sure need more gravel on the driveway. It looks as if the right side has washed away. Anyway, the floor is warped, and there is paint missing on the window sill and cabinets. I say this because I don't wish to be dinged for damages. Overall, we had a great time. The home is lovely, and dishes, towels, etc were all plentiful. I would rent it again if the driveway were fixed and there was no swing”

“The property was very clean and cutely decorated. It was so peaceful sitting and rocking on the deck. ”

“This property was awesome. Just steps out back to water. Had everything we needed but groceries. Was a great memory maker for the family. Highly recommend.”

“Its was lovley. The elevator didnt work but we managed just fine. We loved the tall dunes and being up high at the beach. Sunsets and sun rises were beautiful. House was clean and cute. ”

“We had an amazing time relaxing, fishing, and crabbing at this adorable bay unit. Waking up to incredible views and having the option to fish off the dock was a bonus! Beaches, restaurants, and the golf course are all within a few minutes drive. I highly recommend staying here! ”

“My family enjoyed a very nice stay here for spring break. The house was great, the beach was amazing and private… Everything we hoped for except one thing…the internet and WiFi issues that we were told were normal and couldn’t be resolved. Cellular was also spotty so we couldn’t use our hotspots. This made it difficult to watch family movies on a few nights and impossible to work remotely.”

“Overall it was a good trip. The property needed some minor maintenance. New batteries in tv remote, cabinets had missing door knobs, etc.”
