After complaining we did appreciate getting a partial refund from the host. The money that was not returned was VRBO’s portion and I plan to argue for that too. They are responsible for checking properties so they should refund their portion too and take down this terrible property that no one should have to stay in. To be……

“Our group of 6 stayed for 2 nights and the apartment was perfect for us. Great location, safe parking and good access. We had everything we needed and more and the social space was ideal. The pool was a bonus which we enjoyed. We would definitely return, a great experience.”

“The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors……

“Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The host couldnt have done more to make us feel welcome with lots of extra special touches. She left oatcskes, local cheese and butter, homemade jam and shortcake, ive never stayed anywhere like it for thoughtfulness. Superb, will definitely return.”

“Good amenities - the wifi worked, the shower had good temperature & pressure, the beds were comfortable. The town is lovely - right out the back of the building, you can walk to Linlithgow Palace by taking the trail around the little lake. There are restaurants & cafes close by. ”
