“We loved the charm of this 100 year old building and the proximity to the hospital where our Mother was being treated. The off-street gated parking is an added bonus! “Very clean and quiet apartment. Great place to stay with small kids. It is a 30 minute walk to the zoo, which sounds like a lot but it is a very pleasant and safe walk through Forest Park. Also very close to the Delmar Loop Trolley which my 2 year old was absolutely enthralled with. Towels were plentiful and kitchen was adequate for a simple meal. I was impressed that the AC was COLD in such an old building. We would stay here again without hesitation. ”

“It's a nice property in a great neighborhood. I recommend bringing earplugs and an eye mask for sleeping though. You can hear cars going by and the walls between the units have zero insulation, so we could hear the dog next door walking around on the hardwood, like it was in the same room with is. Also, there aren't room darkening curtains, so the morning light was an issue (but I am very light sensitive).same room”

“Really cute apartment in a great part of town! Libby was wonderful, communicated quickly, check-in/out process was smooth and easy. It could use a few more/nicer kitchen items, pots/pans. But I like to cook and stayed almost two weeks, so that may be moot for most guests. “We came in for 2 nights of shows at Chafeitz and this place was the perfect location. We could walk to and from the shows with ease. Great location to restaurants in the area. The place was like an art gallery with cool features throughout. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve experienced in a rental. “Worked great for our family trip down memory lane visiting our old haunts in St. Louis. Reminded me of the apartment buildings I lived in, with original hardwood floors, plaster walls, and all. Very convenient location to the Metro and Forest Park. The only drawbacks were the heat (top floor and probably some of the hottest days of the summer meant the A/C couldn't keep up) and the basement laundry. Housekeeping uses it from 10-3, but even then there were no washers/dryers open.”
