“We just returned from one of the most fun weekends of our lives! The Moose Lodge was the perfect place to celebrate my sisters upcoming nuptials. The backdrop of the lake was so beautiful and tranquil. The cabins themselves were cozy, clean and had such cute decorations. Think warm wood finishes, comfy blankets, robes and a fire outside! “My grandchildren have not experienced camping in a tent. I wanted them to experience sitting around a picnic table rather than a living room, everyone sharing one room, one bathroom for all of us, no screens for most of the day, few appliances. All was accomplished! Management was responsive to all needs and offered solutions. The property feels the pinch of no available workers. I find that is everywhere!”

“This property is beautiful! It’s less than 15 minutes from Lago Vista, which has a grocery store and food places, and is about 10 minutes from a beautiful spot on Lake Travis. The property is quiet and beautiful, and the owner was very helpful and kind with check in and questions during our stay. One thing to be sure you are aware of is that there is no running water, and the bathroom is a port-a-potty. This was fine with us, but we didn’t see this detail before arriving.
