“This is not the right place for you if you want hustle and bustle. It’s quiet but you can still see other guests if you want to. Love the personal fire pit and the lead so we could keep our dog with us. They thought of everything you might want—even a smores kit. It’s not “roughing it.” Good water pressure, cold AC, comfortable bed. Units are small but make the most of the space. Gorgeous picture window from which we watched a herd of deer run by one morning. “The only thing I would add is flashlights on the cottages that do not have bathrooms. Also I noticed that they were lights to the men's but not the women's. And the closest restaurant is about 20 minutes so I would recommend eating before you get there otherwise take your snacks. I went to Harper for dinner and it was about 30 minutes then Ingram for breakfast which was about another 25 the opposite direction. I would recommend selling appetizers ”

“The stay was amazing perfect for weekend get away real nice and quiet very secluded Mr Rustin was quick with responses very respectful and helpful will be going back ”

“The property is arranged like a an old time western town with a few fun twists. we only spent 2 nights here, but we would definitely stay here again. We used this property as a jumping off point for Big Bend National Park which is only about 20 minutes away. Loved the views off the back of our cabin which was schoolhouse #2. Disnt get a chance to explore the property much at all but are looking forward to it on our next visit. Great bed and plenty of room...shower is a little old but didnt……

“Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very……
