“Short stay with family. I think we chose a great time to go. I think it was us and maybe a few others in community so it was pretty vacant. I was kind of worried with the layout of how the houses were compared to parking, distance to pool and distance to pathway to beach but it was all very reasonable. We walked it with kids wagon etc. we did have some issues which I’ve never experience with any of our stays on Vrbo. When we arrived there were no keys left in lock box as instructed. Then no one……

“I stayed in the Fish Cabin, four nights. The owners, Jim and Becky, who live on the premises are delightful people who checked more than once to see if I needed anything. Becky's communication and coordination regarding checkin was outstanding. We actually TALKED on the phone--imagine that! My unit was one of ten or twelve, all contiguous with covered porches, decks really. Dancing Dunes feels like slipping on a pair of old, comfortable shoes. You feel right at home. “I booked this place super last minute for the 4th of July weekend. It’s a great location right in between Rockport and Aransas Pass, takes 10 min to get to either. Cutest little cul-de-sac with 6 total cottages on the property. Love that it was pet friendly. Might just be the time of year but mosquitoes were eating us up like a buffet when in the grass area. Definitely take bug repellent if you’re gonna hang outside. The cottage itself is just what you need nothing more, nothing less. This……
