“We had a large friend group over for a ski trip and were able to sleep all of us comfortably. The rooms and amenities are accurately described. The kitchen is stocked with spices and a great place to cook meals for everyone. Our view of the mountains from the house was incredible and the hot tub was well maintained and comfortable. Only thing I need to mention is the driveway and access roads are steep and icy/snowy. We had a few cars without 4 wheel drive get stuck and needed more sand/salt……

“I would love to gatekeep this property for myself. Reasonably priced, well taken care of home. You cannot beat the location. Originally we wanted to stay directly in Stowe, but being right between Stowe and Waterbury was the way to go. Nice grocery store down the street, Ben and Jerrie’s 5 minutes away. It was amazing waking up, driving across the street and getting the freshest coffee I’ve had at the coffee roasters l. We drove no more than 15-20 minutes for everything and we stayed out of the……

“We enjoyed the house on our ski trip to Sugarbush. The mountain was 10 minutes away and several dining options were just as close. It was brutally cold when we arrived, but the house was nice and warm. Overall, the house was a great value. ”

“Unfortuantely, our experience at this place is poor. First of all, we found that the dishwasher, dishes and mugs are not cleaned, food residues found in the dish washer, dishes, coffee stains remained on mugs. It seems no clean service was performed. We had to wash the dishes, mugs all over again. Then we find a blood stain on one of the bedsheets. This would be unacceptable by any standard. Thirdly, the kitchen sink faucet failed and became unusable (the inlet hose came off) on the first……

“We spent a week in late January and loved it! The views of the mountains, including the iconic Camel's Hump, were unparalleled and the scene shifted depending on the weather and the time of day. Within an easy drive of Stowe, where we went cross country skiing, but we also spent a lot of time reading in front of the fire.”
