“The town in itself is a mini Switzerlamd, and Snowflake Resort added to the enchanting beauty of Stowe, VT. Room was huge for four guests. Breakfast was good. The place is walkable; although you need a car to explore the history and culture of the place. If not driving and taking the train or airplane, be sure to reserve an Uber ride in advance. Overall, it’s a place you will surely come back to.”

“This hotel is located in a great place to access food, the Ben & Jerry's Factory (in case you want to catch a tour) and didnt have a bunch of road noise that can ruin sleep. It was very clean and has plenty of space in the lobby to get the family around a table to eat.”

“Lovely place to stay with plenty for kids and adults to do. The room was beautiful and spacious for 4 of us. We enjoyed our stay but did not enjoy the pizzas. They were poor quality and tasted cheap. Great place to stay but avoid the microwaved food. ”

“All of the front desk staff were very friendly, everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the complimentary coffee & selection of tea available in the lobby daily. We also enjoyed the fire pit & sitting on the porch ”

“Field Guide Lodge is beautiful! Our room is amazing! Love sitting by the fireplace on this rainy day to warm up after walking around town! Super close to town and lots of restaurants with a movie theater across the street! The staff was super friendly and explained everything in detail! ”

“Rooms are clean and well-situated for a batch of ski gear. The pool and hot tub are delightful and the grounds are plentiful and back right onto the river. The food at the restaurant is delicious and quick. Above all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful at this independently-owned hotel. Can't wait to stay here again! ”

“Beautiful property, it was so nice to sit out by the creek on the Adirondack chairs and have a drink. We didn't get to use the hot tub or the pool but that was very nicely cared for. ”

“The lodge was located in very rural mountains area and the landscape was beautiful and scenic. The property was well kept however they need to consider upgrading their electrical system. The staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. While they conducted a subway and advised us of the situation in the area. Or needs to be said about the lack of food options or even a general store. But overall, we had a wonderful time in the area was absolutely beautiful.”
