“Saw the photos and thought it seemed like a nice little overnight stay for a day trip to Sequoia National Park, after our evening at the Fresno PBR event. We decided to go to the cabin prior to the event. The drive to Fresno was a little long. So was not ideal for that leg of our trip. The cabin itself was great; rustic and comfy. “We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate……

“There is NO place more convenient than this little cabin for a stay near King's Canyon or Sequoia National Park. It's quite literally in the park and while the cabin is over 100 years old, it's been wonderfully renovated to allow for modern conveniences while still retaining it's rustic charm. “Great place. Got lost on the way and the owners were very responsive and helpful getting us back on track. Small and extremely efficient use of space. Had a great stay and highly recommend. ”

“Lovely and spacious cabin in Kings Canyon Park. We stayed 4 nights in October. The cool nights made the pellet fireplace much appreciated. Plenty of outdoor seating for warmer weather. There’s so much to vist nearby that 3 days was not nearlt enough. We’ll be back.”

“Place was very nice and clean , the check in was a bit hassle since they send wrong code for the lock and since the connection is very bad for cell phones we had to drive several miles to get connected to host and get a new code.”

“Well stocked cabin on 30 acres with a creek, deer, quail, turkeys and bears. Remote and private makes it so relaxing but just a short drive to Kings Canyon. No negatives.”

“This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay”

“Sandy the caretaker was lovely and did a good job, going out of her way to place fresh flowers and write directions to the park entrance. It has a very nice view and is quiet and remote. Furniture is quality and comfortable. But cats took over the porch, there was no heat, no cell reception, and the well could run out of water at anytime. Be ready for remote living.”
