“Sandy the caretaker was lovely and did a good job, going out of her way to place fresh flowers and write directions to the park entrance. It has a very nice view and is quiet and remote. Furniture is quality and comfortable. But cats took over the porch, there was no heat, no cell reception, and the well could run out of water at anytime. Be ready for remote living.”

“Decided to base our visits to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks from the fantastically located and charming property. Best decision ever. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! There is no hallway to the 2nd bedroom so its either an outside exit or a walk through of the other bedroom). The internet was fast and reliable. The driveway to the cabin is demarked by a small sign……

“The house was really nice and worked well for our group of 6. The ants were a real nuisance. The owner left a note about the ants being a problem at this time of year. We were extremely careful about not leaving anything out but there were still a lot of ants and it put a damper on our experience. I wouldn't expect to have to deal with this in a vacation rental.”

“Lovely and spacious cabin in Kings Canyon Park. We stayed 4 nights in October. The cool nights made the pellet fireplace much appreciated. Plenty of outdoor seating for warmer weather. There’s so much to vist nearby that 3 days was not nearlt enough. We’ll be back.”

“We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate……

“Place was very nice and clean , the check in was a bit hassle since they send wrong code for the lock and since the connection is very bad for cell phones we had to drive several miles to get connected to host and get a new code.”
