“We got totally scammed at this VRBO. The house was essentially abandoned. Completely over grown yard, garbage on the porch, garbage throughout the property. The host never responded to questions about check in. Phone number we called went straight to voicemail and we were never able to contact the host. The gate to the property was chained up and had no trespassing signs with images of guns on them. How VRBO allows the property to be listed on their site still is incomprehensible. We are now……

“As any normal person I was skeptical that it was going to be as pictured but I was not disappointed. Everything was amazing and beautiful! The area is great and the distance to get out into nature and reconnect was within reach here. I felt safe with my three small kids and didn't feel embarrassed with their rowdiness because it was just our family enjoying the sun and nature during the day and being bathed in stars at night. Thank you to the host, Peggy for her great hospitality and supplying……

“The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). We were all able to spread out and enjoy the property. The outdoor space is great for relaxing after long days of hiking in the parks. The road to Kings Canyon and Sequoia is long and winding, but after we drove it once we felt comfortable. Just take it slow.”

“We had a wonderful time relaxing at this beautiful country home. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets with the 360° views from the sunset spot, and spending time at the Wellness Center relaxing in the pool. We really appreciated having the gym with AC as it got very hot during our stay. Our chef friend found the kitchen to be great to cook in and well supplied with appliances. We had everything we needed and more! This is a beautiful home and the host appears to have put in a lot of effort to……

“Wir waren wohl die ersten in dieser Saison (Mai), es roch muffelig, ebenso die Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Wir mussten erst 5 Spinnen aus der Badewanne abspülen. Es hat auch sonst so einiges in dem Haus gekrabbelt. Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer hatten leider Teppichboden. Die Betten waren sehr hart. Die Aussicht war aber schön und nahe am NP. Der Föhn hat leider gefehlt.”
