“Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

“We wanted to get away from the city for a few days and our stay was everything we had hoped for. The house is beautiful, the scenery is great, we couldn’t have stayed at a better place. There’s a reason why this property has great reviews ! ”

“This property is in rural PA, with gorgeous views and all the amenities! Our kids loved the house with an open basement to play and chickens to watch. Everything was stocked, you truly needed only the food you specifically wanted for the week. The host was great at communicating and even offered their wagon when we thought our 5 yr old couldnt do all the walking we had planned. The eggs and cookies were a wonderful treat! “An awesome place. We were greeted with homemade scones, fresh cut flowers and farm fresh eegs. Grain free treats for our 2 yorkshire terriers with bowls for their food and water. Enjoyed the seeing the chickens roam the area. A doe and fawn came by to see us.
