“The cabin was clean and had a gorgeous view of the river! The scent of the cabin was strong for my taste (woody? Candles? Not sure). There is not much to do in nearby areas but my goal was to stay near new river gorge park not to be in a place with lots to do, so this was perfect! Only downside is proximity to the train tracks. Train is very loud as it passes, but I would stay there again! I ran into the host’s son walking his dog as I was leaving because he lives nearby and he was so kind and……

Also, the kitchen and dining area had large windows that were perfect for looking at the mountains while we had our morning coffee. Would definitely recommend to friends. ”

“My three girlfriends and I had a two night getaway at this gorgeous house. The inside of this home was so well maintained and beautiful. You can tell the host puts a lot of effort into making the renting as comfortable and home-y as possible! There is one bedroom on the bottom floor with a half bath, which was perfect for my friend who broke her leg the week before. “It was a quiet clean little place to stay. Walking distance to a grocery store and fast food joints. I met Ryan the owner, he was a super nice guy, he was flexible and easy to work with. His place was stocked with all the essentials. I was there for work, but it would be a great home base for a vacation getaway. There's plenty to see in the surrounding towns. If I'm ever in the area for work or pleasure I will definitely contact Ryan and see If he has a place available to stay.”

“We drove 14 hours and this was just the place we needed to unwind and get a good nights sleep. Pet friendly and quite the charming decor. The extra large bed was quite comfortable and plenty enough to share with my teenager with tons of room. The gorgeous setting and vintage decor made it all a worthwhile experience. Loved the chickens roaming freely and we were wishing we had more time to enjoy this hidden gem. I would stay here again on our next trip through! It’s a little off the highway……
