“The villa more than lived up to the photos and descriptions. Stunning hilltop location that offered privacy, 360–degree views, and easy access to Matera and a couple of small charming towns, as well as day trips to the higher-profile tourist towns like Polignano, Alberobello, etc…. The accommodations were pristine, spacious and well laid out. The groundskeeper (Marcello) is there every morning at 7:00 to clean the pool and any other maintenance needs. “Tiziano et Claudia sont très gentils. Vous serez seuls dans la maison, un peu isolée avec quelques voisins, mais peu présents. Des choses sont à revoir : portail, porte d'entrée, cuisine, moustiquaires principalement ; mais globalement, vous passerez de bons moments dans la maison qui est facile à prendre en main. La terrasse et le jardin sont vraiment chouettes. La maison et le mobilier sont basiques et vieillots, vous aurez donc un confort moyen, mais suffisant pour quelques jours. La piscine……

“This is an ancient city. It was fascinating to stay in one of the caves where people have lived for over 4000 years. But recently upgraded to modern day comforts and safety. The bedroom/living area is well appointed. The kitchen had everything one needed, and the bathroom had a shower in the cave wall that was as unusual as the city. I enjoyed my stay very much.”

“First and foremost the property manager and her communication were excellent with extremely quick replies to our questions and her offers to go above and beyond which we politely declined. The property was clean and in good shape. Additional accessories such dish towels, a tea kettle, a pair of scissors, and spatula would have been helpful”

“The cave was absolutely beautiful. The view was stunning. The welcome was lovely. You can walk everywhere. It’s a very quiet area. You have to park your car on the outskirts of the town, pay for public parking, and also pay for a tax- |~ extra 60 euros . Despite all that, our stay was excellent.”
