“We had a fantastic stay at Le Stanze del Console. The location is perfect for exploring the town, piazza, and a short walk to the famous 007 bridge. The staff were fantastic - they were available at any time, and the rooms were cleaned every day. It's a family-run business, so the staff are very friendly. We are coming back! “The apartment was perfect! Spacious, with lovely historic touches and modern conveniences, and the most spacious bathroom we've encountered on our travels. Such a generous breakfast, too and varied array of snacks! The host was also very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Since we arrived in early January, we particularly appreciated that the host had turned on the heating beforehand, so on our arrival, the apartment was already pleasantly warm. What a warm welcome, thank you!……

“Lovely hotel and amazing terrace with the absolute best view over Matera. Wonderful breakfast buffet with great coffee served out on the terrace, staff were all very helpful and great to enjoy some afternoon drinks after exploring all day with an incredible view. ”
