“La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). I loved taking a bath in the beautiful bathroom and went for a run at sunrise through the ostrich farms. It’s only about a half hour from Cango Caves. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. “The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, tasty food especially the rack of lamb. Stargazing with Eben was an exciting and unique experience. Will stay here again.”
