“Booked this place to be near a anniversary celebration for a couple we have known for years. Its was my wife and I, as well as our daughter and her 10 year old son. Its a quiet house with a nice sized yard, perfect for a game of catch with my Grandson. It is an older house but clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable, Water was nice and hot, Kerig coffee pods were provided as well as bottled water in the fridge. Like most places you might not find everything you need in the cupboard……

“The lake was beautiful, and the neighbors were so kind and hospitable. The house was a little different than the photos online and wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. We still had a great time! The deck was very nice (note: you do have to cross the road to get to the waterfront). Overall, good stay for the price. ”

“A small group of friends came to stay for a long weekend to catch up and celebrate an engagement. We had a great weekend enjoying the property, beautiful weather, and an excellent host. I could not recommend this place more. You will not be disappointed. It had everything we needed for a friend getaway and so much more. Definitely check out the hosts recommendations around the bay, we had a blast! The next time we find ourselves in the Rochester area, we will be keeping this place in mind. ”

“This was a lovely property right on the canal. The cottage was immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable. Communication with owner was fabulous when we did have an issue, it was responded to and taken care of within minutes. This is a great location if you are visiting a college student or town. We would consider staying again even if not for school because of its location and charm ”
