“It’s a great place for a quick stay. Easy to get into. The steps to get into the main area are a little tough especially without a way to block them off such as a baby gate. Beds were soft, well stocked kitchen for easy use of items, relatively clean, very nice having laundry on site as well. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with.”

“We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. “We were renting while in town for a business trip. This is a wonderful property. It was great to be able to make our own meals instead of going out for every meal. We didn't have a lot of extra time for recreation and exploring but this was a nice central location for everything we were able to do. “The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. ”
