Highlights include: Comfortable beds, fireplace, clearing around house to enjoy views of trees and pond, trails surrounding property, friendly knowledgeable caretaker, easy to use/understand solar generator, pre-trip directions and guidance from owner, and being OFFLINE. “I stayed here for close to a month in january, had a great time. The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. The hike up to the cabin is awesome, you cross several small creeks through a beautiful forest, there were tracks everywhere from deer, rabbits,……

We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking.
