“This is a comfy house, very quiet area . Typical rural Vermont house on the new side. Unlike many similar houses i really appreciate the provision of staples for the kitchen, annoying to have to get this for a short trip but this property was well stocked with spices, utensils tea and coffee etc . The owners have been reasonable on this point. Reasonably priced property suitable for a small family. Located about 10 minutes east of St Johnsbury. A couple of nice farm stands nearby.”

“We stayed in East Burke for a family event and the house was perfect for our needs. There were 7 of us total and we fit great. The home was clean, bright and spacious. The location was great as well. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We all wish we could have stayed longer. We love Vermont!”

“Clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights. Our dog loved the very large, fenced in, backyard. We didn't use the deck or the firepit, but both looked nice. Inside the house was clean and had comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well stocked. Large TVs in the living room, master bedroom and 1 other bedroom. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and the home was the best place to relax after playing in the snow. The house had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Kelley was very understanding of all our travel dilemmas to get to her property and made sure we had everything we needed. She communicated quicky and was very easy to talk to. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Vermont.”

“Perfect a weekend ski get away with 3 kids…beautiful views on the lake. A bit remote..but a nice 40 minute ride to Jay Peak. ”

“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:……

“We stayed here around Christmas time. We were skiing nearby. Location was great. With the snow the cabin was great for views. There were some issues with the internet/tv working for the first few days- but was addressed. There was a little issue with the shower downstairs leaking- we sent a video the first day but little could be done. Little issues ”

“We had such a good time the few days we stayed here, it was peaceful, clean and everything we needed was there. Our host was always on call, and immediately answered if we had any questions. Would love to stay again”
