“My family and I had a very peaceful stay here. The house is lived in, clean, and homey. This made me feel more comfortable staying with dogs and two teenagers. The views are beautiful and the quiet and privacy was an added bonus. I really enjoyed walking down to the water in the morning to see the sunrise each day. A few things that could use some care are the grill and one of the TVs. Otherwise, this was a lovely stay.”

“This is a good house in a good location, but has a few problems:1. It needs much, much better lighting. In the middle of a Vermont winter, when we were there, it is dark about 14 hours a day, and yet this house has woefully inadequate lighting. The house needs AT LEAST 2X the number of lamps it currently has. To make the problem even worse, many of the lamps it does have are dim, and many are missing functioning bulbs. 2. Three of the 4 bedrooms are in the basement and they share one……

“The property was perfect for our 3 week stay! The bed was extremely comfortable ( we are picky) and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I wouldn't recommend for small children, due to the stairs , but our 5 and 6 year old children were quite content and loved the dock for fishing. There's a beach just down the road that y'all can walk to, and lots of dirt roads and trails for hiking and walking. ATVs can be rented from Berlin NH. Mooselook Diner has the best breakfast……

“The host, Kyle, was fantastic and very responsive. The view was beautiful, the home was very nice and clean. We had a large group, though the house is not very big, the layout worked exceptionally well. There is large grassy play area and a large deck for entertaining the kids. It is right across the street from a fishing/swimming beach that also has a hiking trail.The location was perfect for our group. Very close to St Johnsbury and within 30 minutes of Montpelier and Littleton. If the A/C is……
