“This cabin was just as advertised, and perfect for our family. We were looking for some winter isolation, and found it at the Outpost. The fireplace was great, the arrangement was perfect for family games in front of the fire or at the table, the kitchen had what we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had, and we enjoyed saying hello to their two very friendly dogs who stopped by. We would stay there again, summer or winter.”

“Just as described..quaint, charming historic tavern/restaurant along National road. We arrived in time to catch a last serving on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious—Service was terrific! Our check in could not be smoother-used electronic—and hostess was as welcoming as can be ! The floor plan was unique yet easy to follow—the complimentary cafe/bistro hallway was ideal for hot/cold soft beverages andnicely supplied quick b’fast to go in the am. “Three of our adult children live in Morgantown, with two of the three families expected we wanted to find a place to host a family holiday. This property was perfect providing a place to gather and entertain our kids from town while offering a plenty of space for our two out of town children and mother-in-law who stayed the weekend. The home is stylishly decorated, impeccably clean, and offers very comfy beds. The downstairs is a nice place for teens or young adult children, the kitchen is roomy……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage! The home was well kept and clean. We utilized the spacious kitchen for cooking meals and it had everything we needed. The hot tub was the highlight! It was in good working order and hot when we arrived. The host even topped off the water for us during our stay upon our request! The cottage was conveniently located to Ohiopyle and the towns close by. We also loved that it was dog friendly and would definitely recommend!”

“My sister and I booked one night for a Dr.'s appointment early the next morning. Upon opening the gate - even before entering the motor home, we contacted Teresa to book another night! We met and visited with Keith and their son-in-law. Conversation was easy, and we learned about their lives and a bit about their history on the property. There are several types of seating from which to look at undeveloped woods while watching and listening to a creek tumbling over rocks. I did not have extra……

“Visiting WVU, so only really slept there. Comfortable but interior needs updates. It was fine since we were just using it to sleep there. Sleeps 5 comfortably and sheets and towels included ”

“Had a great stay. Neat little areas with history , shopping, and plenty to eat. Love eating in the attached restaurant and not having to leave the property. So much to do close. Love the winery and Christmas shop up the road. Also ate Sunday brunch at Braddock and was awesome. Everything was there for a perfect stay. Easy in and out. Loved the jacuzzi tub . Will stay again. ”
