“Our night at the Ivy Rose Cottage was cozy and charming. Nestled between Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge, the hand-built cottage amazed us with its timber framing and copper trellises. We enjoyed Dino’s pizza and marveled at the tiny water closet where knees nearly touched the door. The next morning, we had breakfast overlooking the misty garden—truly a peaceful and beautiful start to the day. Mary is also an excellent host and check in/check-out was a breeze!”

“Felt very remote and the kids loved exploring the property. About 15 mins from Wintergreen. Loved it.”

“IMPORTANT: there is no Verizon signal for a 30 minute radius around the property, so be prepared with phone numbers, printed check in info (ask for door code), follow up email/questions a few days before you check in. We spent our first day a bit frazzled, but had a lovely rest of our stay. Bring spices, proper kitchen knives and aluminum foil/parchment if you intend to cook. And robes for the tub! “This cabin was thoughtfully stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, and toiletries! It was very clean and the beds were carefully presented! Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and to town amenities, if needed!”
