“The staff was helpful in solving the issue while the event in the old city forbids any taxi coming in to pick us up. She was resourceful in getting an electric bike and get our luggage and then ourselves to the train station.”

“We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. The quality of the breakfast was excellent but it would have nice to have someone explain that you have to make your own coffee (the coffee machine was well away from the breakfast buffet, almost at……

“Usual mass accommodation hotel, however to our shock, the room was big, clean and the bed was massive. Reception were very helpful, with a bowl of jelly sweets on the counter. A couple of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Plenty of free parking. ”

“Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Bewirtung. Wir haben sehr geschätzt, dass Wasser oder Sprudelwasser frei zur Verfügung stand. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeit - das Hotel ist wie eine Oase mitten in Industriegelände, aber mit Auto zu empfehlen, nur schade, dass es kein Restaurant gibt, weil das Hotel weit weg von St. Malo Zentrum liegt. ”

“La Pavie is a lovely place to stay in Dinan. Catherine is warm and welcoming, and the whole house has a calm, relaxed feel. Breakfast is excellent - the quality of the produce is great. It is served in the shared dining/breakfast room. Part of the history of the house is reflected in the multiple tea choices which was a really nice touch. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town and opposite a beautiful church. There's a quiet charm to the place that makes it easy to unwind……
