“The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area.
Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area.
A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too.
Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property.”

“We stayed here with our four 20-something children, their partners and our mothers to celebrate a few birthdays. The house is a great size for our group. Bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms great and the kitchen a good space. The living room and dining room are also great sizes for large groups. If there was only one downside it would be that the house would benefit from a refreshen-up, but everything worked for us for our stay, and we would stay again!!”

“We had a fantastic stay in Ambleside, largely due to the location of this property. A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. A little difficult to find in the first place but once we located it, all was good! Thank you!”

“Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street.
It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests.
Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service.

“酒店靠近湖邊，交通方便，是不錯的選擇。
週末放假貴得有點離譜，都是3000以上的價格，到了之後發現其實有更多更好的選擇。房間基本上沒有風景可言，我們三個房間，只有我的大床房可以看到一點湖景，其他什麼都沒有。
酒店的員工都很歧視亞洲人，我們在餐廳享用了晚餐和早餐，晚餐的時候，多次催促我們點菜，我們朋友感冒了在房間先休息和吃藥，員工竟然說我們預定的是7點，你們已經遲了15分鐘點菜了必須要快，讓人感覺很莫名其妙。
早餐的時候，點了茶一直沒來，問她就說很多人，要逐個準備，最後催促了幾次發現根本是遺漏了，這服務也是讓人失望；然後，其他桌都是主動過去問要什麼早餐，我們的不叫都不問，也不告訴我們有麵包，這就是對待亞洲人的服務態度？？”

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier.
But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks.
I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced.
Staffs are not really friendly. "
