“Great house for our large family. We all had a private suite with our own bathroom. It was perfect for us to relax and prepare to attend a family wedding on Cayuga Lake which is only a 30 minute drive through a beautiful area of our country. So much history in the house and town!”

“We stayed as an extended family. Half the family was from the area. The owner was super nice and helped us get in a little bit earlier as we had been stuck in airports for 36 hours prior. The youngest enjoyed the fishing and the extra toys that were available. This spot on the lake is one of the best for fishing and for the kids to swimThe dryer did break down and the owners had a new one out the next morning on a holiday weekend. You can't ask for more. “The location was in a quiet spot and within walking distance to several restaurants (Dunkin Donuts, Hobo’s 281 Bar & Grill, a pizza place, and two ice cream shops. The Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex is only a short distance away for those who have baseball players and for those looking for some fun, try Shipwreck Golf (has both indoor and outdoor mini golf) which was fun for all ages. “Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. ”
