“We loved our stay @ Comfort Inn in Grundy. Staff was amazing, room clean, breakfast was wonderful. This location worked out great for us to use as our home base for riding Spearhead Trails. Bellacino's was our go to place for dinner, as there are not a lot of choices, which worked out okay by it being in walking distances and the staff & food there was also wonderful. Would stay here again if in the Grundy area.”

I'll be honest- I have a hard time reviewing hotels like Gateway to the Breaks because a five star review may create unrealistic expectations while a three or even four star review seems too harsh. The fact is that this is a basic hotel with very few amenities; they don't offer breakfast, there are no phones in the rooms, and the only fitness activity is if you have to climb the stairs to a second story room. “Stayed for the pool and hot tub, and the free breakfast. All was fine, the breakfast was great. The door to our room wouldn't open normally, but the lady at the front desk knew right away what to do. It was pretty quiet. Kids loved swimming, and the beds were clean and comfy. ”

“Overall the place was beyond great from every aspect to me. Everything inside the room was new and looked great only issue was no shower curtain but wasn’t a deal breaker. Me and my nephew stayed there over the weekend to do atv trails in the town of Gilbert WV. Was a blast will definitely go back. Anyone looking to book don’t let outside appearance fool you it definitely is nice and comfortable along with it being affordable too. ”
