“Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by ”

“We got an upgrade because the room we had reserved was not ready. The upgraded room had 3 beds and 2 baths. The bathroom was huge and the furniture was beautiful. The view of the lake and volcano was gorgeous. The wrap around terrace was stunning. This was 10x better than the one bedroom, one bath we had. ”

“Loved everything. The wildlife right on their property was amazing. Baby sloth and mommy right in the tree outside the door. Jonathan was great too and showed us a lot of fun stuff. We did the tubing excursion and had so much fun. It’s not for the faint of heart. Perfect for our fam! Recommend going on the hike into park to see that beautiful Celeste River and waterfall. ”

“Such a nice, clean property. The bathroom was spacious, loved the shower. Great working kitchen. Close parking. It was a little hard to locate the property after dark. Good thing Google maps worked! What I liked best was sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains & the clouds over Lake Arenal. We loved our time here.”

“The house was exactly what we had hoped for - clean and with enough space for our family of five to sleep and stay comfortably. Our local host, Gerardo, was absolutely amazing. He greeted us with a smile and helped us plan amazing adventures from viewing incredible waterfalls, azure blue pools and cultural experiences (learning how to make local dairy products). The food at the local soda was delicious and filling - my three teenage boys approved! A great place to stay in a magical part of Costa……

“We could not get in when we arrived, stood outside the gate yelling for the owner for 10 minutes because we didn't have any phone service and the host had not given us the Wifi information prior. Finally my friend got service somehow and contacted the host through VRBO. Room was HOT (no A/C but I think A/C was listed in the amenities), very very LOUD. There were some ants and flies in the room. No breakfast (advertised as a BNB). Location would be great for local soccer game (which also added to……
