“This was an exceptionally good experience for our girlfriends retreat. The property was clean and comfortable. We even had a visitor each morning and night - Trixie, the neighborhood greeter dog. Be sure to bring treats! (I left some for the next folks). We were surprised at the drive up to the property. Be prepared for the ultimate in steep mountain roads, but this would not deter us from staying again. The neighborhood was quiet, serene, and emersed in nature.Ben was an excellent host and……

“Friends came down from Michigan and Pennsylvania to do some relaxing and fishing. Great location and very quiet (loved it). ”

“Little cozy guest house about 75yds up the driveway from owners main house. Had a U- shaped drive for boat trailer. Maybe could fit two but definitely one. Very convenient. Host very nice. Perfect little house for single or a couples fishing trip. Boat house was awesome! Wasn’t bad during my stay. But weeds and bushes have potential to take over walkway down to lake. Other than that. Zero complaints. Dock in cove off main river channel. Was a very pleasant experience. ”

“Location was great! Cabin needs some renovation, a/c can’t keep up in the hot weather. Layout is awkward in the bedrooms etc. Beds need new mattresses. But all in all we had a nice time.Biggest negatives- needs A/C Mini splits in bedrooms and new mattresses. It rained the last two days which helped the cabin stay cooler.”

“If you're ok with a little road noise, you'll love this place. Very close to town with shopping and restaurants with great scenery. ”

“The cabin is located right on the water with a very nice yard. Parking was very easy enough room for at least two vehicles to be able to turn around. House was immaculate. The property and location were very calm and peaceful but also close to downtown where there are walking , restaurants here live music so much to do”

“Right across the street from boat landing .Very clean extremely comfortable beds . Good access to power to charge batteries. Eat close access to town. Would most definitely stay here again. ”

“The house was just as advertised. Clean and spacious. We originally booked it for 5 , a baby and a small dog , but ended up with just 3 adults going. There is a limited lake view but a nearby park on the lake down the street that was very convenient. It’s at a great location close to everything you need restaurants & stores. The lake is very nice . We found the beds to be a bit hard , other than that we would definitely recommend this home. We liked Guntersville so much we are planning a weekend……
