“My family of five stayed here for six days and loved the property and its surroundings. Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. “It is a very cozy place to stay. The staffs are very nice and would give good travel recommendations. It takes 10mins walk to the station or you can take the bus for free. The room is clean and large, sufficient tools for cooking various type of dishes.”

“We stayed on the top floor with our guest from home country, Japan. We had some concerns about bed bugs based on past reviews, but we didn’t see any signs and had great time with fantastic view.

“What a stunning place to stay. The apartment we stayed in was amazing and huge for a family. Multiple rooms, fully equiped. The hosts had excellent communication and check in was a breeze. Parked car nearby in safe undercover garage. Walking distance to shops cafes bars and grocery stores. Driving to grinderwald and lauterbrunnen so close- 20 min. The views from our windows were something from a postcard. We wish we had more time to stay longer. Can’t wait to come back! ”

“We had such an amazing time at the Chalet. It was perfect for our family of 4. Even had a parking spot for our car. Location is very ideal to Interlaken and other surrounding areas. View was so beautiful to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Management was very responsive to all our questions and requests. ”

“Extremely clean and beautiful views! Would stay again. About an hour and a half from Grindelwald and a bit less to Lauterbrunnen. Just keep in mind there is an a 40 min windy canyon ride included between the space and main tourist attractions. Also loved that there was a bakery and restaurants within walking distance. One of the dinner spots stated open till 10pm so that was amazing. ”

“This place was the best place we could have stayed in Grindelwald! The views were awesome, the supplied amenities were great, and having a parking spot was a good addition too. We had everything we needed to make all of our meals while there and the walk to the COOP supermarket took about 7 minutes. "Pros: located on Main Street of Interlaken, easy to walk everywhere. Spacious, modern rooms with AC that actually makes the rooms cool. Bright lights in the rest room. There is also a small terrace and partial view of mountains from the room.
Cons: Understaffed for two days - room wasn’t cleaned until 4-5 PM, only one person at the front desk, staff was super busy during breakfast. The day when we are about to leave, there is a new team of staff that is much more efficient and responsive. Breakfast selection is very limited compared to other hotels of similar grade. Tiny elevator due to the building being old.
Overall, the service could be better for the price of this hotel. "
