“November 8th - November 13th There are not enough words to describe this property!! The amount of care that is put into everything is amazing. Beth has thought of EVERYTHING you could need...just when you think "Hmm, she probably doesn't have that..." just open a drawer, and there's a great chance you'll find it! The cottage was sparkling clean, the location/view was exactly as shown in the pics, it's phenomenal. We stayed there for 5 nights and I think we had the best sleep we've had in years!……

“We loved spending our New Years together here at this property. Everything was very nice, especially the hot tub. Great place to relax, and it wasn't a far drive from stores and such. The only complaint we had was the bed was a touch too hard (for her anyways) but this was easily remedied by just folding up some blankets to use as cushions. Recommended to bring some kind of mattress topper if you prefer a softer bed. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our hosts! Thanks again, Julien……

“We stayed in the Gallery House this past weekend for two nights and had a fantastic visit. Close enough to the city that bad weather would not have stopped us from getting there, far enough away from the city that it was very quiet and we could hear the ocean waves on the rocks and see all the beautiful stars. The host was very helpful after the booking letting us know what items were in the kitchen and about the check in process. The host met me there once I arrived to explain the use of the……

“Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe.”

“We had a great time at the cottage. Our 2 year old grand daughter loved the s'mores by the fire. We brought along all we needed for Thanksgiving Dinner and the kitchen was so well equipped that we actually could have roasted our turkey there but we had that done at home. “Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. A few excited moments at dusk when we caught sight of several whales waaaaay out – okay, turned out be distant shoals but what fun! Enjoyed long walks … to……
