“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs……

“The property is immaculate and very well designed. Loved the small patio! Was just a short drive to the grocery in Princeville and less than 10 minutes down into Hanalei. Would definitely consider another stay here the next time we visit Kauai.”

“Upon arrival to the convenient location I appreciated the parking stall in the covered carport beneath the cottage. Very comfortable and cute cottage with everything one might need. I enjoyed kayaking up the Wailua river and having the access with the private communal dock just across the cul de sac. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly to the breezes and sounds of the trees and rain with the windows open. Didn’t use the air conditioner, but nice option to have. The only down side,……

“Nice peaceful place to stay with beautiful woodwork. The location was good with easy drives to all the nice beaches in the area. We enjoyed the portable hot tub after hiking all day. No AC as mentioned but that was never an issue, in fact we felt a little cool waking up some mornings. The house felt like you were staying in the rain forest which was nice. The housed felt a little smaller than it looks in the pictures but fine for 2 people. The dresser was filled with bedding-sheets blankets etc……

“Toni is an excellent host! She was always available to us should we have any questions or needs. She went above and beyond as a hostess.”

“We had a wonderful stay here. Really loved the plunge pool. Super quiet neighbors, barely heard anyone else. Was perfect for a couple. We'd for sure come back here again ”

“We had a wonderful time exploring the island and coming back to the villa to rest. It's a beautiful location, in great shape, and a perfect home-base to get out and see things. It slept the four of us comfortably, the kitchen was well stocked to cook in the evenings, and it is minutes from beaches.”
