“It's an old hotel. And the owners are working on fixing it. The place is clean and convenient. It was way too expensive for what you get but then it was tourist season.”

“It was a great place for a layover, staff were friendly and the room pleasant and clean. Food, drink and shopping were only minutes away and easily accessible. My only complaint was I had reserved the room with the hot tub, but it was down for maintenance. ”

“We got to check in early, and loved our entire stay, couldnt figure out the tv but if wed asked we would have been fine. No need for tv on this beautiful weekend! We paid it forward leaving coffe pods and some sweetener, and forks but they were provided! Shower was aweso.e but slippery floor... loved this accommodation!!!!”

“It was clean and spacious enough for me and my 3 kids. They had a blast playing in the Sitka forest behind the cabin and loved exploring the beach across the road. The bbq was very handy as Haines only has a few dinning options this late in the fall. The only thing that seemed weird was the complete lack of coat hangers or hooks of any kind in the cabin. Haines is a pretty rainy and cool place and there wasn't one hook or hanger to be found in the cabin.”
